Childhood Cancer Awareness Advocacy
Max and Louis Boyang began their collaboration with Joey's Wings Foundation in 2016. This partnership involved donating a portion of their art sales' proceeds, designing logos for the foundation, raising pediatric cancer awareness at art events, and participating in various other initiatives.
In 2021, they were appointed as members of the foundation's Youth Advisory Committee and co-managers of its Michigan branch. Since then, they've spearheaded multiple "Shared Hope - Art and Healing" events across Michigan. These include the "Greater Lansing Youth Art Competition", the "Cranes for A Cure" art installations in various Michigan cities, and the creation and donation of hundreds of crane folding gift boxes to C.S. Mott Children's Hospital. They've also organized volunteer activities aimed at increasing awareness for childhood cancer.
For Max and Louis, art transcends mere creativity; it serves as a powerful tool for social change, particularly in raising awareness for pediatric cancer.
