Childhood Cancer Awareness Advocacy
Max and Louis Boyang began to collaborate with the Joey's Wings Cancer Foundation in 2016. The collaboration included donating proceeds from their art sales, designing logos for the foundation, promoting pediatric cancer awareness at art events, and engaging in numerous other initiatives.
Max and Louis became the foundation's Youth Advisory Committee members and Michigan branch co-managers in 2021. In the time since, they have organized various "Shared Hope - Art and Healing" events in Michigan--including hosting the "Greater Lansing Youth Art Competition", designing and installing the "Cranes for A Cure" art installation projects in different Michigan cities, creating and donated hundreds crane folding gift boxes for the C.S. Motts Children's Hospital, and organizing volunteer activities to promote childhood cancer awareness.
Beyond creative expression, Max and Louis see art as a catalyst to create change—combining their art with pediatric cancer awareness to do so.
