Louis's "Flowers for Mom" was accepted by Ann Arbor Art Center's "94th Annual All-Media Exhibition".
Just like Max's artwork last time, this is an adult competition and they didn't know that Louis is only 11 years old. :-)
And I almost forgot that Louis did this when he was 10. :-)
Max finished this beetle piece last week. He used interference pigment watercolor for the background. The colors changes when viewed from different angles.
We had hard time taking pictures. These pics couldn't show the beauty of this artwork.
Louis finished this Farmer's Market flower painting yesterday. The original flowers were mostly yellow and white. He changed the colors a lot.
We just received the pillows made from the boys' artwork. Love them so much! We might offer these to people who are interested in the near future.
Here are WIP pieces that the boys are working on.
Max wanted to do something new with this beetle piece. He is not coloring any of the bugs for now. He said he is not telling his plan to anybody.
Louis picked a flower bouquet from the farmer's market. All the flowers were either yellow or white. Though he is changing the color and composition as he goes.
