Louis started this piece in August. He putted it aside when he was almost done to work on the pencil and watercolor one. He just finished it yesterday.

<![CDATA[A perfect painting for the weather]]>Mon, 30 Oct 2017 15:16:11 GMThttp://boyangtwins.com/blog/a-perfect-painting-for-the-weatherWinter is coming. And this piece is called "Gray Day Made Bright".
Louis finished this piece yesterday. It took him a month and half.
He really enjoyed combining watercolor with graphite this time.

Max finished this one last week.

<![CDATA[Max's two new artwork]]>Wed, 06 Sep 2017 14:32:07 GMThttp://boyangtwins.com/blog/maxs-two-new-artworkMax recently finished two new pieces.
He started this praying mantis piece four months ago. He first did the bug, then put it aside for really long time. Now it is finally finished.
This is the second piece of his praying mantis series. He said this one is kind of like dad, the other one is like mom (with wings). :)

The next one was finished last month. He calls it "camouflage" for now. Originally, he wanted to just do a abstract drawing, then he changed his mind, and added a few bugs in it. See how many bugs you can find. :)
Again, Max used interference watercolor along with regular watercolor in it. The second pictures shows the interference watercolor in a different angle.

<![CDATA[Forgot to post Louis's "Sweet Aroma" which he finished about three weeks ago]]>Thu, 03 Aug 2017 15:01:09 GMThttp://boyangtwins.com/blog/forgot-to-post-louiss-sweet-aroma-which-he-finished-about-three-weeks-agoIt took him a month and half from start to finish.

<![CDATA[Max named this grasshopper piece "Carry On"]]>Thu, 03 Aug 2017 14:58:02 GMThttp://boyangtwins.com/blog/max-named-this-grasshopper-piece-carry-onMax finished this piece yesterday. It is still impossible to show the colors of the interference watercolor. Well, that is also the beauty of interference watercolor, the colors keep changing if looked from different angle. You just have to see it in person.
He named it "Carry on".

See if you can find how many grasshoppers are in this.
<![CDATA[Max is done with this praying mantis piece]]>Mon, 26 Jun 2017 15:01:37 GMThttp://boyangtwins.com/blog/max-is-done-with-this-praying-mantis-pieceMax finished this piece last week. It is very hard to capture the colors of the interference watercolor on the wings, and the gold leaf on it.

<![CDATA[Louis's new peony piece]]>Mon, 26 Jun 2017 14:59:37 GMThttp://boyangtwins.com/blog/louiss-new-peony-pieceWhen you have three, four WIP pieces on hand, you might finish them at around the same time. :)
Louis finished this pink peony piece last Sunday. It is called "Popping Peonies" for now.
He still has about 3 pieces that he is working on. And for Max, we have lost track. LOL

<![CDATA[Louis's new pen and ink sunflower field drawing]]>Thu, 15 Jun 2017 19:10:41 GMThttp://boyangtwins.com/blog/louiss-new-pen-and-ink-sunflower-field-drawingIt took Louis about a month to finish this crow quill pen and ink sunflower piece. Consider the size 19"x24" and all the details in it, he actually did it very quickly.
He hadn't done crow quill pen and ink for quite a while, so the accidents during the creation of this piece, include knocked down ink bottle twice, made huge stain on the carpet, and made dirty ink spots everywhere etc.
