Though the cicadas are too complicated for the needs. He then transferred this into an finished piece. He is working on more simple ones for that company.

This is his second chrysanthemum piece. He has become very familiar with what chrysanthemum looks like, so he just did this whole painting from his memory and imagination.

<![CDATA[Max finished his largest piece so far!]]>Mon, 22 Jan 2018 20:19:54 GMThttp://boyangtwins.com/blog/max-finished-his-largest-piece-so-farMax finished his largest piece so far. This one is called "Bug House".
The size of this piece is 22"x30". He used crow quill pen and ink, watercolor and gold leaf in it.
Because of the interference watercolor and gold leaf, the colors on the bugs' bodies change when looking at the artwork from different angles.
<![CDATA[First design request!!!!!!]]>Fri, 05 Jan 2018 19:39:33 GMThttp://boyangtwins.com/blog/first-design-requestNothing is better than starting the new year with a design request from a company for their new product.😄😄😄
The request is to have cicada in the design. The company even understands how the boys work.😂 They want them to do their own style without much requirement.
This will be a huge challenge for the boys, they are very excited about it.😁They plan to have some design with just cicada, some with flowers and cicada.

We are so thankful for all the support and encouragement they have received. It means a lot to the boys. It makes them wanting to do more, and work harder.❤️
The boys have been creating larger pieces than last year. They continue developing their art sense and skills. Can’t wait to see what they could create in 2018!
Happy New Year!!!!!!
